About Us

IkimaPhoto or IkimaPhoto.com is a photo site, Nepal Photography that is all things Nepal. It’s founded and is maintained by Yatra Thulung, arguably the only professional wildlife photographer in Eastern Nepal, who worked as a photo journalist for Daily and Weekly Newspapers and Magazines.
Today he works as a freelance Wildlife Photographer and Travel Photographer and in Project Works. He has also participated in photo exhibition(s) and received awards in fauna category “Nature through Lens” photo competition in 2007, 2008 and 2010, organised by Wild Conservation Nepal (WCN). He lives in Tarahara with his family in Eastern Nepal.
Yatra Thulung has been using Nikon since 1994, but recently he has also added Canon to his photography. Thulung uses Nikon D700 and Canon 7D, with Nikon 300mm and Canon 800mm for his wildlife photography and other lenses for general photography.
